A Message from the President - 15 Years

December 22, 2020As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas, Oklahoma Catholic Radio has many things to be thankful for. Oklahoma Catholic Radio was founded on November 30, 2005. Because of generous friends like you, Catholic Radio has been Bringing the Gospel message to the people of Oklahoma for 15 years!
Many lives have been impacted over these 15 years and we will continue to strive to serve more Oklahomans with quality Catholic radio. Your gifts of support allow Oklahoma Catholic Radio to be heard in cars while parents drive kids to school or head to work, at home (where it enables us to pause for prayer) and even behind the walls of confinement, evangelizing and offering transformation and hope. You make a difference in bringing Jesus to others.
As we reflect on the past 15 years and how much we have grown, we are grateful. But, we have so much further to go to give as many Oklahomans as possible access to Catholic radio. Oklahoma Catholic Radio provides diverse programming for all stages of our faith journey by way of podcast, streaming, and radio.
While anyone can listen to Catholic Radio online at okcr.org, there are places in Oklahoma with no access to over-the-air Catholic radio. With your help, we can expand the broadcast network. You never know whose life may be changed by hearing the Word of God proclaimed if given the opportunity to stumble across a station. With your help, we also will increase the amount of local programming and make a more personal impact on the lives of those we serve.
